The festival features a 52-foot steel giant at the Esplanade PVM, Place Ville Marie, serving as the central stage for various breathtaking performances. One of the highlights is “Le Géante!,” a dynamic show led by 10-year-old Krump dancer Adeline Kerry Cruz, mentored by Jr Maddripp. This free show runs daily at 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (except Monday, July 8).

The festival brings together circus talents from around the world, including the UK, Australia, the US, and Quebec. Notable performances include “Smashed2” with its unique juggling act involving 80 oranges and seven watermelons, and “Duck Pond,” a modern twist on Swan Lake by Circa. Additionally, the young company People Watching debuts with “Play Dead,” blending acrobatics, movement, and physical theatre. Barbu returns for its 15th edition, promising an electrifying evening filled with curiosity and eccentricity.
