SACRED HEART YOGA – 5 WEEK WORKSHOP IN MONTREAL, STARTING ON THURSDAY, APRIL 17

The physical benefits of Hatha Yoga practice become more widely known and understood.

However Yoga is much more than “physical stretches”; in this class you will experiment with a variety of techniques of Hatha Yoga to connect with 5 different feelings of YOUR HEART .

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

We all value high positive feelings such as love, peace, joy, compassion, humility, repentance, courage, happiness. They are like the flowers in the garden of our hearts, that we can develop and cultivate.

In this class, we will practice a combination of exercices to connect with different virtues, as well as to tackle their opposites, “negative qualities”, “subconscious mind”, “ego”.

“Modern Yoga tends to give classes focused on particular aspects of one’s physical health or overall well-being. In Traditional Yoga, the work is done on “all koshas”, affecting all layers of one’s body and psyche.”-Sondar, the teacher from Bihar School of Yoga in Chennai
